At Athenian Brewery, we have been serving the art of Brewery since 1963, when we opened our first brewery. Since then, we have been constantly making new investments, in order to offer the finest taste experiences and options to our consumers.
For more than 60 years we have been on a path of continuous development, guided by our vision:
To create added value that will be fairly spread to our consumers, our partners, our employees and our shareholders. Our aim is to strengthen the positive impact of Athenian Brewery on the Greek economy, the local communities where we operate and the environment of our country.

Based on our vision, we have created a series of production facilities in Greece, where Greek scientists and workers produce our brands, while at the same time they create new flavors and products.

We meet the high demands of consumers using Greek, high-quality raw material. In order to ensure that we have the best domestic raw material, we have designed and invested in special programs. Producing our products from Greek raw material barley has been for 13 years a conscious and constant choice for us.

Since 2014, we produce all our beers from 100% domestic barley.

The art of brewery offers next-level experiences when supported by science. Researchers and scientists of the Agricultural University collaborate with our own special teams, aiming to create new barley varieties that are better adapted to the Greek climate. This fact leads us to better yields for our farmers and finer raw material for our beers. Our brewers make sure that our products maintain their high quality at all times.

Our goal is to provide consumers with unique experiences, in a sustainable way. Scientists and engineers are part of our team, in order to make sure that sustainable development techniques are applied throughout the entire beer production, from the fields where we harvest the barley, to our production facilities and our products’ distribution and consumption chain.

For us, the art of brewing means creation, care for offering delight to our consumers, and commitment to carry this out under conditions that are respectful towards the environment and the planet.

The powerful position of Athenian Brewery is enhanced through the implementation of a plan that allows us to create new products and beers, which are addressed to consumers with particular demands. Alcohol-free products (0%), beers for specific audiences, such as the beers of the ‘Athineo’ micro-brewery and ‘Nymfi’ of Thessaloniki.

Since 1963, Athenian Brewery has positive effect on significant sectors, focusing on growth, innovation and business excellence. Following that, we continue to create added value in our country through our activities.
