At Athenian Brewery we firmly support the local communities we operate into as part of our homeland and especially at the event of emergencies (e.g. pandemics, natural disasters). At the same time, our employees remain the core of our business.
We enhance our positive impact by investing in local communities and the society as a whole.
Since 2008, our local Barley Sourcing Program constitutes the ‘flagship’ of our actions for contributing to society. Every year, we source Greek barley from over 2,000 producers for our products. Through this Program, we actively support Greek producers by providing them and their families an important source of income. At the same time, we offer future prospects for agricultural production, by exporting Greek barley malt abroad and contributing to the employment and empowerment of people in Greece.
